Hey friends, just a gentle reminder that there’s a zine that’s taking submissions right now that you might be interested in submitting something to. They’re looking for comics, illustrations, that kind of thing. I’m doing a couple of things for it (including the cover) and trying to spread the word a little bit as well.

Alright everyone I’m doing this thing called Ghibli Jam this year which is basically a week long (March 3rd - 9th) art jam where hopefully a bunch of cool and talented people get together and create some awesome stuff relating to Studio Ghibli in some way. I don’t know how it will go it might be a disaster but it’s the first time i’ve done something like this and I figured you guys might be into it! I actually did it last year but it was just me. 

I’ve set up a blog where I’ll reblog everything that people make and i’ll also reblog a few things here. So make sure sure you tag your stuff #ghiblijam so I can find it!!! I’ve also got submissions set up on that blog if you want to do it that way

Hopefully this is a success and we all get a bunch of cool art celebrating the much loved animation studio but even if it isn’t it’ll still be fun! So get involved and make something!! It can be comics, art, animation, pixels, paintings, drawings, sculpture, cosplay, stop motion, performance art, installation… or pretty much anything as long as it can be posted on a blog.

So once again basic info Ghibli Jam: March 3rd to the 9th tag your stuff #ghiblijam or submit to the blog! Also follow it/bookmark it so you can see everyones stuff!! Oh and please keep your stuff safe for work.
