Tortoises live for ages, they probably ponder the universe a lot. They are probably really wise.
Heres some asks/questions/statements/strangness:
Anonymous asked: Do you have a twitter??
Yep, you are more than welcome to follow me.
Anonymous asked: I love your animal crossing comics, they’re genius.
Thank you, I have a good basis to work from, weird characters and nintendo charm.
Anonymous asked: Horizontal start select buttons on the Game Boys instead of diagonal? This isn’t NES Jake!
Lucas can you just get a tumblr so you don’t have to send me Anon messages anymore, please and thankyou. I’m sure everyone would love to hear about your virtual boy adventures. If this isn’t Lucas… then.. I did try the diagonal buttons but it looked weird as pixels.
Anonymous asked: I want to have sex with your mind.
That sounds painful for all involved.
Anonymous asked: You have the coolest URL ever
Thanks, i came up with it all on my own. Well thats technically not true future me came back in time and told me to make a tumblr and call myself timecowboy because in the future thats what i’ll be, that however created a time paradox and now we are all living in the darkest timeline where i assault you all with animal crossing comics and pixel art and tortoises. In the other time line i’m a well respected member of society
Anonymous asked: Hi Jake. Love your tumbler/blog. I love the brutal honesty you use to portray the torture that is Animal Crossing. Anyhow, I assume you already heard, but you know you can in fact get your Farfetched back from your Pokewalker—just Google “reset your pokewalker” Good luck and thanks for sharing your great work! -Don
Hi Don, why anon? Thats a poem. Thanks for the kind words. I have received many a message about saving farfetch’d but i’ve decided even though it is possible to get a farfetch’d back its not my farfetch’d so I will let his memory live on in my heart.
Thanks for the ANON (except don, kinda) questions everyone.
PS. feel free to reblob without the text if you just want the gif.

lacy-kins asked you:I love your comics! I wish I knew more about animal crossing though. I always wanted to play it but never got it. And your adventures in escapism ones are truly amazing, breath-taking, and totally take me to a deep nostalgic place. Very seriously hope to one day live in a world like escapism.
narwhaliciousasian asked you:I adore your references to butts. :3 It reminds me of my conversations with my peers. Keep going! :D
ilovetheships asked you:I love your tumblr.
Anonymous asked you:hey do you still play animal crossing
fuckin-cute asked you:Plz make some more Adventure Time stuff :)
misshakespeare asked you:what inspired you to draw?
Anonymous asked you:Why are most of your comics only four panels?
Farfetch’d: 2010 - 2012 Part 2: with a vengeance.
Now I wasn’t intending for this to be a two part comic, but a lot of you are concerned. Very concerned. Some of you have a vested interest in the original comic. Many of you sent me messages fearing that I had given up on old Farfetch’d, my long time pal. You spoke of strange things like codes and changing batteries and zombified pokémon (okay that last one was me).
I tried guys, I swapped out the battery (thanks to bashfulfruit for letting me know what battery i needed) but it didn’t bring him back, hes gone. And although the code may bring back a farfetch’d, can i really say that he’s my farfetch’d? The same farfetch’d who walked around in the bottom of my bag for so long? No i can’t.
Finally… I dabbled in the dark arts. I saw things my friends, the spirits were angry i tried to meddle. I can’t speak of what i saw, thats my cross to bear. suffice to say Farfetch’d is gone and now, we all need to heal.
Now i’ll close the book on this sad chapter in my Pokémon journey.
